Introduction

With the roll out of the Global Forms Area on the platform, this document aims to resolve the most commonly asked questions.

To recap, Global Forms is moving forms management to a global level on the platform. This means that instead of creating individual forms for each campaign, you will be able to make master templates and associate them to multiple campaigns.

With this new Global Forms approach, we have centralised form management to help solve many issues related to:
  • Visibility into available forms and where they’re used
  • Inconsistent field names
  • Implementing changes across multiple campaigns
  • Archiving old forms
  • Form interface

If you have more complex questions, please reach out to our Support Team using the in-platform Platform Support icon on the top menu bar.

FAQs

What does this mean for me?

Global Forms is a major improvement within the Convertr platform. Its benefits include:

✔ Bulk editing
✔ Consistent field names
✔ Dynamic content fields allow content rules based on advertiser, campaign or whitepaper without having to write custom javascript

All of these benefits will affect you as you use the functionality, no matter how you use our forms. As part of the release all current forms will be automatically updated to the new Global Forms section. Any new forms you create as of November the 9th will need to be done within the new Global Forms section.

How will my current forms be affected?

Any current forms will automatically be transitioned over to the new Global Forms section. Any new forms created after the 9th November will need to be created through Global Forms.

When exactly is this release scheduled?

The release is scheduled for 6am GMT on Tuesday 9th November.

Where is the new Global Forms Section?

Global Forms can be found on the left sidebar under the Forms tab

What does Master refer to under the Type Column?

When a form is created it is referred to as a Master form. If you use our Translated Forms functionality, you will see the Translated type, which indicates the form is a translated form rather than the original Master form.

How do I duplicate a form?

With the new functionality, you are able to associate one form with multiple campaigns. You can also use an existing form as the basis for a new form, editing the fields as required.

Why has the name of my form been changed?

You may experience some form name changes due to the migration of the forms from the previous functionality into the new Global Forms functionality. This has occurred due to the content of the forms being identical and therefore they are merged together as one to allow you to experience the full benefits of the new Global Forms functionality. A standardized form name will be added, which is simply the Form ID, as we do not want assumptions to be made in the naming of the forms.

You can subsequently update the form names within the Global Forms area.
